My trip to Kiel Center, St.Louis

November 28, 1998

The Kiel Center in downtown St.Louis
With a larger lower bowl and suites on the upper level, Kiel Center is more conducive to fans than, but similiar to, MCI Center.
The teams lined up for the National Anthem, then it was game on!
We got lucky with our seats - at the end where the Caps shot twice.
Tensions ran high early on as the Caps looked for their win despite being down by a goal early on.
With less than a minute to go, the Caps tied it up at 1-1.
Olie Kolzig prepares his crease for the second period.
The Caps struggled to match the two goals the Blues tacked on.
Although the Caps made it 3-2, there just wasn't enough in the third period as the Caps fell 4-2.
The next day we looked at a building with happier sports memories: Congrats Big Mac on 70 Home Runs in a season - the new record!
